This year we are ‘Returning to our Roots’ and are holding the fair at Lions Park, as we used to do in years past.

We are taking this as an opportunity to concentrate on what we do best, celebrating agriculture in our community.

We are proud to have one of the largest miniature horse shows in southern Ontario, it is not to be missed.

There will be lots of things to see and do: exhibits in the Home-craft division, Future Farmers Olympics, Baby Show, Pet Show, Open miniature horse show, Sheep Show and a Sanctioned Goat Show. Returning for the 2nd year is a Rabbit Show put on by the Haldimand & Niagara 4-H members. We continue to plan for our children’s entertainment, musical entertainment as well as a bevy of food trucks and vendors.

Selkirk and District Lions celebrated their 15th annual GasFest this past Weekend. The Calithumpian Parade always draws a big crowd. The theme this year was ‘Pirates of Haldibbean”.
