Haldimand OPP has charged a 29-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman with multiple offences following a traffic stop on Highway 54, Caledonia.

OPP were patrolling Friday afternoon when they noticed a vehicle travelling north bound, above the posted 80 km/hour speed limit. A man was driving the vehicle and a female in the passenger seat.

Following the vehicle the officer noted it was making erratic moves onto the shoulder and back onto the north bound lane. The vehicle was stopped by police and lo and behold, the officer noticed the female was seated in the driver’s seat and the male was in the passenger seat.

OPP has charged 29-year-old Donald Wilson of York with driving while under suspension, careless driving, failing to wear a seatbelt, using plates not authorized for vehicle, speeding, driving a motor vehicle with cannabis readily available.

Also charged is 31-year-old Ashley Bradley of Simcoe with careless driving, failing to wear a seatbelt and driving a motor vehicle with cannabis readily available
