Haldimand OPP is investigating a two vehicle head on collision on North Shore Drive near Rymer Rd., Dunnville, that left a man seriously injured.

OPP, County Fire Services and paramedics responded to the scene Monday morning after a passerby stopped to assist and found both drivers were injured and one of them was trapped inside a vehicle.

Fire Services extricated the 64-year old man, who was transported to a local area hospital with serious but non-life threatening injuries. He was later transported by Ornge Air Ambulance to an out of town hospital.

The male driver of the other vehicle was transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

North Shore Drive was closed for approximately three hours while emergency crews were on scene.
