Haldimand OPP has charged a 68-year-old man following a two vehicle collision involving a school bus on Sandusk Road at Concession 13, Hagersville.

OPP, Haldimand Fire Services and paramedics were called out Monday morning when a witness reported a school bus had collided with a passenger vehicle.

Paramedics assessed the 72-year-old male and 73-year-old female  occupants of the passenger vehicle and transported them to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The school bus driver was not injured and there were no student passengers on board.

Police say the school bus was travelling north bound on Sandusk Road and entered into the intersection where it collided with a passenger vehicle that was travelling west bound on Concession 13 Walpole.

Sandusk Road at the intersection of Concession 13 Walpole is controlled by stop signs for north bound and south bound traffic.

OPP has charged the 68-year-old male school bus driver with careless driving under The Highway Traffic Act.
