A single vehicle collision Monday evening landed a 21-year-old driver in hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Haldimand OPP, Fire Services and paramedics responded to Highway 6 Bypass near Argyle Street after a witness reported a vehicle had rolled over, the driver had been ejected and appeared to have sustained serious injuries.
A green pickup truck being driven by the 21-year-old was travelling south bound on Highway 6 Bypass when it crossed the centre line and hit a steel guard rail. The vehicle rolled several times landing on its roof.
Highway 6 was closed between Greens Road and Fourth Line for approximately five hours while emergency crews were on scene.
