Are my eyes failing me, or are there really three typos in the barely fifty words of Councillor Fred Morison’s invitation to the open-minded citizens of Ward 2 : “inviation,” “issures,” and “all open minded resident.”
Perhaps that last one was more of a Freudian slip than a typo: maybe Morison knows his mother-in-law is the only person left in the ward who will vote for him, Morison and his wife living outside the ward.
Talk about quality representation! Well, you can fool some of the people all of the time, and you can fool all of the people some of the time, but you can’t fool all of the people all of the time. Perhaps it’s time Mr. Morison did some retirement planning.
