OPP were called to Third Line near Haldimand Road 9, Hagersville, Thursday morning for a report of a robbery that had just occurred.
Thieves stole chainsaws, weedeaters and currency. As the homeowners returned to their residence around 9.15 am, one of them was assaulted by one of the suspects before they fled the scene.
The three suspects were described as being indigenous males.
Their vehicle, last seen east bound on Third Line, is described as an older model grey GMC or Chevrolet SUV with a broken left side (driver’s side) headlight. The Ontario licence plate on the suspect vehicle is 966 BXV.
