Vaccine waitlist for 70 -74
Haldimand and Norfolk’s COVID-19 Task Force has implemented a vaccine waitlist to ensure all doses available are administered. Individuals aged 70-74 (born in the years 1946-1951) can now sign up for the waitlist online by visiting hnhu.org/vaccinewaitlist. Eligible individuals will only be contacted if there are available doses at end of day at the various clinic locations.
This is not a booking tool, and appointments will only be offered if there are unused doses available due to cancellations, no-shows, etc. Unless otherwise announced, individuals in Phase 1 & 2 in Haldimand & Norfolk counties will continue to be contacted by their family physicians to book vaccine appointments once they become eligible.
Individuals aged 70-74 who wish to be contacted about potential vaccination appointments through the waitlist can complete the online registration found here.
In an effort to expedite delivery of available vaccines to eligible residents as quickly as possible, waitlists will continue to be generated for individuals who are in the age category that follows those currently being vaccinated.
A new waitlist will be generated for each age group in 5-year increments as the rollout progresses. Details will be shared when the waitlist opens for each age category; you will not be able to register for the waitlist until your specific age category becomes eligible.

Making an appointment for over 75
Individuals over the age of 75 whose family doctors are located within Haldimand or Norfolk County are currently being contacted to book vaccine appointments.
Individuals over the age of 75 who do not have a family physician and wish to receive the vaccine are encouraged to contact the vaccine line (519-427-5903 or email@example.com) and leave their name, age, and phone number to be booked for an appointment when one becomes available.
Individuals aged 70-74 (born in the years 1946-1951) can now add their names to a wait-list for potential end of day appointments (due to cancellations, no-shows, etc). Lists of individuals aged 75-79 will be exhausted first. Eligible individuals will only be contacted if there are available doses at end of day at the various clinic locations.
The HNHU will now be managing all bookings. Please do not contact your physician’s office to request an appointment. Family physicians are still providing lists of eligible patients but are NOT responsible for booking patients.
It is incredibly important that people continue to practice social distancing, hand hygiene, mask use, and other protective measures to slow the spread of COVID-19 until the community reaches herd-immunity (i.e. that enough people are vaccinated that we slow and eventually stop the spread of COVID-19 in the community).
