A grade 10 Caledonia McKinnon Park Secondary student has received a student recognition award for the Arts from the Grand Erie School Board.
Isaac Kragten is an accomplished actor and dancer who has appeared in a variety of television series and movies. He also won a 2017 Daytime Emmy award as Outstanding Performer in a children’s series which airs internationally.
Other awards went to:
Carter Roung, Pauline Johnson Collegiate and Vocational School, an elite level golfer
Allan St. Pierre, Tollgate Technological Skills Centre, for perseverance and integrity in overcoming many academic and personal hurdles
Alexa Windle, Brantford Collegiate Institute and Vocational School for excellence in youth national track and field
Ascension Harjo, Pauline Johnson Collegiate and Vocational School, who performed at the Indigenous Games Opening Ceremony in front of athletics and delegates from across North America
