A 34-year-old is facing multiple charges following a single motor vehicle collision on Mississauga Road in the Mississauga’s of the Credit First Nation.
OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and Haldimand County paramedics responded to the site on Saturday at 9:55 p.m. Witnesses reported the driver was trapped and unresponsive.
Haldimand County Fire Services extricated the driver from the vehicle and paramedics transported him to a local area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle and no other vehicles involved.
OPP determined the vehicle was travelling west bound on Mississauga Road when it travelled into the south ditch, exited the ditch crossing both lanes and crashed into the ditch on the north side of the road.
It was later determined the driver was impaired by drug, and he was operating the motor vehicle while prohibited from driving.
OPP has charged 34-year-old Beau Green of Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation with:
●  Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
●  Operate a motor vehicle while prohibited (three counts)
●  Breach of a Recognizance of Bail
●  Drive a motor vehicle while under suspension.
