Haldimand OPP has charged a 36-year-old woman after investigating a single vehicle collision on Highway 6, Hagersville, Monday. When officers arrived at 3.20 am, the vehicle was unoccupied.
A search of the area found an individual, later determined to be the driver of the vehicle which had been reported stolen.
The licence plates were also stolen and during a search of the woman, officers located a quantity of illicit drugs.
OPP has charged 36-year-old Barbara Lummis of Hagersville, with: possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, possession of a schedule I substance (methamphetamine), driving a motor vehicle with no driver’s licence, use plates unauthorized for motor vehicle and fail to remain at the scene of a collision.
