Haldimand County is undertaking a review of the Official Plan as required through the Planning Act.  Section 22 of Planning Act requires that Haldimand County give affirmative notice of a Public Meeting for an amendment to an Official Plan. On February 9, 2021, Council in Committee will be presented with a staff report outlining proposed amendments to the Haldimand County Official Plan to address growth strategy options and changes to the boundary areas of Caledonia, Hagersville, Jarvis, Townsend and Dunnville (no changes are proposed for Cayuga).

Council shall consider written submissions and comments from the public. Written submissions must be received by the Municipal Clerk by January 5, 2021. Comments may be sent to the Municipal Clerk via e-mail, or via mail to the address listed below.
