BATTERIES STOLEN 

Haldimand OPP is investigating the theft of several truck batteries from vehicles at an Industrial Drive, Caledonia address, overnight  Wednesday January 10

OPP describes two suspects who fled from the scene as:

1. Male, white, heavy build, approximately 5’8″ – 6′ tall with a beard. Wearing dark coloured pants, a light coloured hoodie style sweatshirt, and light coloured shoes.

2 . Male, white, approximately 5’8″ – 6′ tall with a beard. Wearing light coloured pants, a dark coloured sweatshirt, a dark coloured touque and light coloured shoes.

OPP reminds the public to report any suspicious persons or vehicles in their communities.

“POP UP” CAMPER TRAILER STOLEN

 

A camper trailer was stolen from Simington Automotive and Industrial Supply on Main Street South Hagersville, on Friday January 12.

Someone accessed the rear of the property around 3:20 a.m. in an older style GMC SUV and attached the parked camper trailer, described as a 2003 Bonair “pop up” style trailer, before fleeing the area.

OPP continue to investigate.

TAILGATE STOLEN FROM PICKUP TRUCK

 

Haldimand OPP is investigating the theft of a tailgate from a parked Dodge pickup truck on Highland Boulevard, Caledonia  between 9 pm Thursday Jan. 12 and the next day at 9 am.

TIRES SLASHED

 

Two vehicles had their tires slashed where they were parked on the driveway of a Douglas Drive, Caledonia address overnight Friday Jan 12.

OPP continue to investigate.

SUSPECTS DUMP STOLEN VEHICLE – STEAL ANOTHER

 

Haldimand OPP is investigating the theft of a pickup truck from the Canadian Tire store on Broad Street East, Dunnville, around 11:40 am Jan 13.

Someone left a blue GMC Envoy vehicle in the parking lot and stole a white 2003 GMC Sierra crew cab long box pickup truck that was locked and parked on the northwest corner of the lot.

The Envoy was reported stolen from the Hamilton area

MALE CHARGED WITH MISCHIEF

 

Haldimand OPP has charged a 42-year-old male after investigating a mischief at the LCBO on Broad Street East, Dunnville, on Sunday January 14. It was reported a customer had left the store and damaged a vehicle that was parked in the lot.

The male entered the store and due to his intoxicated state, he was refused service. Witnesses reported he became angry and belligerent when he exited the store and damaged a parked vehicle in the parking lot. He was located shortly afterward and subsequently arrested.

Charged is 42-year-old Christopher Roberts of Dunnville, with mischief under $5,000 and failing to comply with a probation order. He is to appear in Provincial Court Cayuga at a later date to answer to the charges.

FAIL TO REMAIN COLLISION

 

Haldimand OPP is seeking witnesses in a fail to remain collision that occurred on Caledonia Avenue, Caledonia on Sunday January 14.

A vehicle was parked on the shoulder of Caledonia Avenue when it was struck by a vehicle described as a white cube van, which was last seen east bound on Caledonia Avenue. The parked vehicle sustained extensive damage.

OPP is asking anyone who may have information regarding any of these incidents to contact them at 1- 888 – 310 – 1122.
