Haldimand OPP has charged a 55-year-old man with impaired driving following a traffic complaint on King Street West in Hagersville, Friday.
While the officer spoke with the driver, signs of impairment were detected and he was arrested. He was determined to be more than two times above the legal limit.
Charged is Michael Andersen, 55, of Brantford with: Impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.


Police are investigating the theft of a green 2001 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck from a grocery store parking lot on Main Street South in Hagersville, Saturday evening.

Police nabbed a wanted individual after responding to a suspicious person call, Thursday.
It was reported an apparently intoxicated individual was near a vehicle in a retail parking lot on Argyle Street South, Caledonia. OPP determined the individual had a warrant for arrest from the Middlesex OPP detachment.
55-year-old Leo Elijah of Oneida Nation of the Thames First Nation was returned to the Middlesex OPP.
