IMPAIRED DRIVERS CHARGED

On Monday evening July 19, OPP received a traffic complaint on Highway 6 Hagersville. OPP located the vehicle on Indian Line Road and signs of impairment were detected in the driver who was placed under arrest.

OPP has charged Enid Alice Butt, 59, of Dunnville with Impaired Driving. Her driver’s licence was suspended for a minimum of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.


Early Sunday morning., OPP received a report of a motor vehicle that had struck a concrete barrier at Haldimand Road 55 and Hickory Beach Lane in Walpole. The driver had fled on foot.
Police located the man in a field, signs of impairment were detected and the driver was arrested.

Charged is Michael Ryan Vandenberg, 35, of Stoney Creek with:

● Impaired Driving by alcohol

● Impaired Driving by drugs and

● Failure to stop after accident.

His driver’s licence was suspended for a minimum of 90 days and vehicle impounded for seven days.

ATV STOLEN FROM HIGHWAY 6

A green and black Arctic Cat ATV was stolen Thursday afternoon from where it was parked on the side of Hwy 6 near Hagersville.
