PICKUP TRUCK AND TRAILER STOLEN IN CANFIELD

Sometime overnight Thursday, thieves stole a black 2004 Dodge Ram pickup truck and a white 2005, 27′ Fleetwood Orbit camper fifth wheel trailer off an Indiana Road East, Canfield property.

The value of the pickup truck and trailer is estimated at $27,000.

WOMAN  CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED

Haldimand OPP has charged a 37-year-old woman with drinking and driving following a single vehicle collision on Cheapside Road, Hagersville, around 2.30 am Saturday.

A witness reported the vehicle went into a field near concession 9 Walpole. The woman sustained minor injuries and was transported to a local area hospital by paramedics.

While speaking with the female driver, officers detected signs of impairment by alcohol and she was subsequently arrested.

Charged is 37-year-old Melissa Gordon of Thamesville, Ontario with impaired driving and failing to provide a breath sample.

HAGERSVILLE LCBO BREAK-IN

Haldimand OPP responded to an alarm at the Hagersville LCBO at 1:17 am Monday where they found a window to the business had been smashed.

An unknown man forced entry through the window before removing a quantity of liquor and fleeing the area in an older model, grey coloured Chrysler vehicle.

The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 30 years of age, between 5′ 7″ – 5′ 9″ tall, medium build, goatee style facial hair, wearing a dark coloured hoodie style sweatshirt, white undershirt, dark coloured pants and dark coloured shoes. The man was also carrying a dark coloured duffle bag.
