OPP SEEK WITNESSES IN HIT AND RUN
Haldimand OPP is investigating a hit and run on Highway 6 near Concession 10 Walpole, in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A commercial vehicle was in the north bound lane of Highway 6 at the railway crossing when it was struck from behind by a black pickup truck, whose driver fled the scene on foot.
The driver of the commercial vehicle was not injured and there were no other occupants in either vehicle.
OPP is asking anyone who may have witnessed or have any information regarding this incident to contact them at 1-888-310-1122.

DRINK DRIVING CHARGE
A concerned citizen laid a complaint about a vehicle that was travelling south bound on Highway 6 into Hagersville, Sunday morning.
Haldimand OPP located the vehicle and while speaking with the female driver, detected signs of alcohol consumption. A roadside test was administered and determined the driver was above the legal limit.
30-year-old Megan Burns of Simcoe is charged with having more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
