DECEASED NAMED IN MONDAY’S WALPOLE COLLISION

Haldimand OPP has identified the 21-year old man killed in a three vehicle collision on Concession 2 Walpole Monday as 21-year-old Travis Meadows of South Cayuga.

Meadows was a passenger in a west bound vehicle that collided with an eastbound vehicle that was turning into a private driveway. The momentum forced a collision with a third vehicle.

The 30-year-old male driver of the west bound vehicle was transported via Ornge Air Ambulance to an out of town hospital with serious injuries. His name has not been released by the OPP.

OPP continue to investigate the collision and is asking anyone who may have witnessed the collision, or who may have any information to assist with the investigation to contact them at 1-888-310- 122.

MISSING MAN FOUND

60-year-old Gordon Smith, who was reported missing by a family member Tuesday, has since been located, safe and in good health.
