DRIVER CHARGED AFTER COLLISION ON KOHLER ROAD 

Haldimand OPP has charged a 32-year-old Buffalo man after a two vehicle collision on Kohler Road, Fisherville, Friday morning

A Freightliner commercial vehicle was travelling east bound on Haldimand Road 20 when it proceeded from the stop sign and through the intersection,  striking a Dodge pickup truck that was travelling north bound on Kohler Road. The driver of the pickup sustained minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Charged is 32-year-old Joseph Pitts of Buffalo, New York with failing to yield to traffic on through highway.

VEHICLES DAMAGED

Three vehicle owners in the Argyle Street North and Caithness Street areas of Caledonia reported door lock and ignition damage to their vehicles overnight Thursday.

Witnesses reported that two males wearing hoodie style sweatshirts were walking in the areas checking parked vehicles between 9:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.
