(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON) – The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County Detachment is seeking assistance from the public after responding to an injured person complaint at a Main Street East, Dunnville, Haldimand County, Ontario address.

On Tuesday October 15, 2019 at 2:19 p.m., OPP and Haldimand County paramedics responded to Main Street East after a passing motorist came upon an injured female who was laying on the roadway requesting an ambulance. A witness reported a male was with the female had claimed to be her boyfriend saying he would take her to a doctor. The male had picked up the female and put her in a vehicle and left the area prior to police and paramedics arrival. A witness reported it appeared the female did not want to get into the vehicle.

A witness described the vehicle as grey in colour and similar to an older model Honda Civic style vehicle.

The vehicle was last seen travelling east bound on Main Street East.

The injured female is described as black, approximately 35 years old, heavy set with long black curly hair, wearing a light colored tube top and dark coloured pants. It appeared she had injured her right arm or shoulder.

The male is described as brown skinned, approximately 40 years old, short, with dark coloured hair. OPP is looking to speak with this male and female.
