OVERNIGHT THEFTS ON CLAYMORE CRESCENT
Haldimand OPP is investigating thefts of a vehicle and a wallet from separate addresses on Claymore Crescent, Caledonia.
Sometime overnight Monday July 24, 2018 thieves stole a black 2004 Cadillac Escalade that was parked on the shoulder of the road in front of the residence. It was described as having 26″ rims and tinted windows.
Later in the day at 4:17 p.m., another resident on Claymore Crescent reported that their vehicle had been entered and wallet stolen sometime overnight.
OPP urge residents to always lock their vehicles and to remove valuables and personal identification from their vehicles. If you can’t, then keep them out of plain view.

DRIVER CHARGED WITH IMPAIRED FOLLOWING COLLISION
Haldimand OPP has charged a 27-year-old woman with impaired driving following a single vehicle collision on Highway 3, Dunnville,
On Tuesday at 1:45 a.m., OPP, Haldimand County Fire Services and paramedics responded to Highway 3 near Crown Road after a woman reported she had been involved in a collision.
The woman suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics. Signs of impairment were detected and the driver was subsequently arrested.
OPP has charged 27-year-old Sineade Hirst of Port Colborne with impaired operation of a motor vehicle and driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in blood.
