Haldimand OPP has charged two drivers with drinking and driving offences following traffic complaints in Caledonia and Dunnville over the holiday weekend.
Saturday afternoon, police spoke to the male driver of a vehicle on Rainham Road in Dunnville and detected signs of impairment. The 30 year old Dunnville man was arrested.
Just after midnight Monday, OPP responded to a traffic complaint on Argyle Street North in Caledonia. The 51 year old Hamilton male driver was subsequently arrested.
Both drivers had their driver’s licences automatically suspended for 90 days and had their vehicles towed and impounded for seven days.
