Two individuals have been charged with drinking and driving offences following a traffic complaint involving a vehicle on Argyle Street North, Caledonia, Saturday afternoon.
OPP located the vehicle on a retail store parking lot and determined that the individual in the passenger seat and the individual in the driver’s seat had both been operating the vehicle, and that both had consumed alcohol. They were arrested after failing Sobriety Tests.
OPP has charged Bruce Belanger. 64, of Belwood, ON and Kathleen GRAY, 45, of Dunnville, with
● Impaired operation of a motor vehicle
● Driving a motor vehicle with more than 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
Both had their drivers licences suspended for a minimum of 90 days and the vehicle was impounded.
