Haldimand OPP has charged a 27-year-old woman with multiple offences after reports of a stolen vehicle on Townline Road East and Hwy 56 Cayuga, Tuesday afternoon.
The vehicle had been involved in several collisions in the Halton Region.
A witness saw someone run from the vehicle into the woods and OPP set up containment of the area to locate her. A subsequent traffic stop on Singer Road determined the passenger was involved with the stolen vehicle. She was found in possession of stolen property and a break in instrument.

Ashley Taylor, 27, of Burlington, has been charged with:

● Dangerous Operation of a motor vehicle (2 counts) ● Failure to stop after accident (4 counts) ● Flight from Peace Officer ● Possession of Break-In Instruments ● Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000 ● Possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 (2 counts).
