Friday, Norfolk County Major Crime Unit, and Haldimand/Norfolk Community Street Crime Unit under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), arrested and charged a second individual in relation to an ongoing death investigation.
On Monday, May 4, police were called to a residence on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe where Lorraine Denise Dawley, 55, was found unresponsive and later died at the scene.
Michael Anthony Long, 53, from Norfolk County was charged with trafficking in a controlled substance contrary to section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
Friday, Jeffery Steven McLean, 45, from Norfolk County, was also charged with trafficking in a controlled substance contrary to section 5(1) of the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act.
