Norfolk OPP investigated an incident of sexual assault on South Drive, Simcoe, Monday.
The victim had been approached while sitting on the curb of Norfolk Street South at approximately 10:00 a.m. by an unknown male operating a Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV), who offered a ride. The victim accepted and was taken to an address on South Drive and sexually assaulted while in the SUV.
The victim was able to exit the vehicle and reported the incident to police.
The suspect is described as a black male with a Jamaican accent, possibly in his late 20s or early 30s. He had a very distinctive thick, black beard which was covering his cheeks and was wearing a dark shirt and pajama pants.
The vehicle is described as a gold coloured SUV with beige leather interior and a large console/arm rest in the middle of the seats. It was missing the rear passenger seat and it appears that this particular vehicle carries 6 to 7 passengers.
